About this Role

The Laboratory Logistics Specialist conducts logistics processes, in collaboration with other 
Laboratory Logistics personnel, ensuring that projects are progressing, and systems are set up and 
maintained according to quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures and applicable ICH-GxP* and other applicable local regulation and industry guidelines.

 Oversee the logistics aspect of designated projects to ensure that the right supplies are delivered to the right locations at the right time and right conditions

 Provide support for development of project specific logistics strategy

 Execute clinical logistics procedures for clinical trials

 Supports set-up of clinical trial logistics (e.g. kit design & lab material sourcing

 Manage and oversee lab kit manufacturing

 Prepares and ensures distribution of study documents and materials

 Perform day-to-day communication with the clinical team, sites and vendors

 Participate in regular study team, as required

 Track and report logistics study metrics to the project team Support financial control; track check and compileinvoices Contribute to meeting study timelines and works efficient with systems in place

 Support toward and ensure he/she stay within budget/time allocated, in agreement with the applicable Laboratory Logistics Services Manager and Laboratory Logistics Coordinator

 Supervise transportation, import and export of biological samples in cooperation with investigators, GTC, LLAs, CRAs, laboratories and courier service providers

 Manage collection and analysis of laboratory samples for clinical trials

 Perform laboratory data management and reporting of lab results to sites

 Perform query management

 Support central filing and final archiving activities.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience of pharmaceutical/Clinical research/consulting industry.

  • Profound/Superior experience in clinical logistics or related field within the biopharmaceutical industry (desirable)

  • Individuals should have a strong understanding of cross functional activities

  • Profound multinational work experience (desirable)

  • Fluent in English

Education:

  • Educated to B.A/ B.S. on biology, pharmacy, or other health –related discipline, international trade, business administration or logistics or relevant work experience
