Working independently and reliably showing a high level of ownership, also analytically minded with a strong focus on detail and committed to quality deliverables the Logistics Project Specialist collects and analyzes operational, financial information and information of various sources including web based IT to present high level trends and conclusions to the SLLs (Supply Logistics Leaders) thus facilitating the project planning and decision making process. As a strong team player the Logistics Project Specialist is able to communicate with various internal and external functions.
- Set-up, maintenance and close-out of project management systems Draft and review study specific documents
- Set-up document filing and oversee CTS&L quality checks according to Central File Maintenance Plan (CFMP)
- In case of standalone studies draft all required documents (SOP-list, CFMP, etc.)
- Support resource management by running and analyzing of project specific resource reports
- Develop project specific or standard Client reports format using standard reports where possible and required
- Support SLL in identifying, implementing, reviewing and updating project specific financial performance metrics (e.g. PO report, Time reports)
- Support SLL in invoice review
- Executing day to day data analysis of financial status (planned versus current)
- Support SLL in CIS creation and review.
- Support PTC review and analysis
- Support set-up, maintenance and close-out of operational management systems as required
- Ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy of data enter in systems
- Support the SLL in managing the internal procurement process, ensuring the appropriate Scope of Work documents and Purchase Requisitions are in place
- Arrange project related training for project team members and new team members under the direction of the CSL/LLL if applicable
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Client focused approach to work
- A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning
- Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail and meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork
- Proficient in use of web based IT systems and MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Analytical mind with attention to detail
- Result and solution oriented
- Relevant experience supporting project management activities
- Fluent in English
- Preferred a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a science related field, with an advanced degree desirable or sufficient, relevant job experience or another relevant education
