Medical technician

Key Accountabilities:
  • Conduct of clinical trials:
- Placement of cannulas
- Administration of study medication to the volunteers
- Performance of large-scaled technical examinations, such as exercise tests and challenge tests
- Verification of completion of all scheduled measurements
- Supporting the physicians by monitoring of the volunteers
- Inquiring of all adverse events and reporting to the study physicians
- Read and clean Holter and ECG data
  • Reporting and documentation of clinical data:
- Preparation of interim safety reports and safety data presentation in listings, tables, figures and charts
- Supporting the investigators by completing of CRF's, maintenance of ClinBase data and handling of Queries
  • Participation in client meetings as required
  • Acquaintance with study related documentation as well as review of study documentation such as protocols, manuals and CRFs
  • Planning of the studies in close cooperation with the investigator, project manager, project quality lead and clinical research coordinator
  • Administrative support within the medical operations department

Qualifications

Education:
  • Registered Nurse, MTA (Medical Technical Assistant), physician assistant or similar qualification
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Good knowledge in English and German (spoken and written command)
  • Excellent computer knowledge (Office application)
  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP Guidelines, SOPs and local guidances
  • Experience in planning and performance of clinical pharmacology studies and/or relevant patient care in hospitals/practices
  • Relevant experience in performance and assessment of technical procedures
