What is the Path to Project Leader Program?

Embark on your journey into Project Leadership with the Path to Project Leader Program at Parexel. This innovative program is designed to transform ambitious professionals into skilled Project Leaders, equipped to drive critical clinical trials forward. Since its inception, we've nurtured top talent, guiding them from Senior Project Specialists to Associate Project Leaders in as little as 12-15 months. Our program combines intensive training, real-world experience, and personalized mentorship to cultivate the next generation of Clinical Project Leaders.

Is the Path to Project Leader Program right for you?


You're an ideal candidate if you:

  • Have recently completed a minimum of a PharmD degree, or a Master’s Degree in Clinical Research 
  • Are interested in developing into a Project Leader in the clinical reach industry
  • Are ambitious and want to make a difference in patients' lives every day

What the Path to Project Leader Program offers:


The program consists of three main components:

  1. Training: Covering finance, project management, client communication, and soft skills
  2. Exposure: Mentoring and shadowing with various roles and functions
  3. Practice: Assignment to a study to gain hands-on experience and apply learned concepts

Application and selection process:


Our hiring process will entail:

  • Application and CV review
  • Case Study Questions/Talent Acquisition Phone Interview
  • Interview with Line Management
  • Second Interview, on Motivation and Expectations, if the first interview is passed
  • Post-interview selection

We are currently in between hiring cycles

The Path to Project Leader is a fast-track program only available in the US. We typically interview and hire candidates near the end of the calendar year, with start dates the following June. Check this website regularly for open positions and updates on the next recruitment cycle.
