Stacy
Chief Patient Officer
Working for Parexel gives me a global lens into some of the greatest challenges confronting patients seeking cancer care through clinical research. In my consultative role, I am guiding the design and delivery of patient-centric clinical trials from inside our organization. It’s my goal to reduce the burden of clinical trial participation on patients and their families and ensure trials are easier to participate in. Patients in clinical trials are heroes. As a stage IV cancer survivor, I owe my life to them.
Marzena
Director, FSP Biometrics
I've been working in the industry for almost 20 years and from the very beginning was motivated by the fact that we support the development of new medicines for patients. But little did I know that my professional life would get so close to my personal life. In September 2022 my father was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Fortunately, after considering all risks and benefits, the medical council decided to enroll my father in chemotherapy treatment dedicated for elderly patients. When I first learned about the drug my father was going to receive it did not ring a bell, as it was the market name. But later, I realized that Parexel is supporting the development of this drug and my team is responsible for statistical programming on this compound! This experience boosted my motivation and brought my heart even closer to what we do every day.
