About the Role
We are seeking a Site Payment Associate to join our team in a remote working capacity.
As a Site Payment Associate, you will play an important role in supporting the accurate and timely execution of investigator site payments that enable the successful delivery of clinical research studies. Working closely with cross functional partners, you will help ensure payment information is accurately interpreted, configured, tracked, and maintained throughout study execution.
This position offers the opportunity to develop expertise in clinical trial finance processes, investigator payment systems, and global clinical contracts while contributing to operational excellence across clinical research programs. Responsibilities include reviewing clinical payment documentation, configuring payment information within investigator payment systems, supporting issue resolution, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and research sites to ensure payment processes are completed efficiently and accurately.

Key Responsibilities
Review and interpret global clinical payment documents, including Clinical Study Agreements, budgets, amendments, and Budget Modification Letters, and extract payment information for budget configuration templates
Support the accurate setup of research sites within the Investigator Payment System (IPS)
Distinguish between data driven and manual payment line items and configure payment setups accordingly
Escalate ambiguous payment information to contract negotiators and support timely issue resolution
Follow up with research sites regarding payee form completion, corrections, and modifications
Collaborate and communicate effectively with business partners across functional areas
Support adherence to established company processes and quality standards
Partner with the Investigator Payments Lead (IPL) to track missing or incomplete documentation
Maintain accurate tracking of payment related issues and resolutions
Candidate Profile

Experience working in clinical research, healthcare, finance operations, or another regulated environment
The ability to collaborate across teams and communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders
A quality focused mindset and a disciplined approach to contracts, budgets, and payment administration
Comfort working with Excel, payment systems, documentation, and process driven workflows
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent relevant industry experience
1 + years of experience working in a related discipline
Basic clinical trial knowledge
Strong Excel skills
Written and verbal fluency in English, including legal, medical, and scientific terminology
Fluency in English and at least one additional European language
Strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills
Understanding of budget and payment setup configurations
Preferred Qualifications
Business or technical degree
Previous project management experience
Fluency in local language(s)
Experience working with contracts, budgets, or clinical payment processes
