IT Support Analyst

Opportunity with PAREXEL to provide applications support for Power BI. We are implementing PowerBI for a new project and need to expand our existing team of experts to include PowerBI expertise. In this role you will provide 2nd level application support to system users. This will include the analysis of moderate/complex system problems and recommending and implementing solutions with minimal assistance. Participate in the administration, integration, implementation, software updates, bug fixes, change requests and application support activities for assigned systems. Ensure that system documentation is complete and in accordance with IT and Corporate policy and guidelines. Identify and implement system/process improvements and perform metrics analysis to identify problem ticket or performance trends.

Qualifications

Key Accountabilities

  • Ensure all problem tickets are completed accurately, and in a timely manner

  • Conduct troubleshooting and analysis and work issues to resolution, with minimal assistance

  • Monitor system performance and utilize system monitoring tools to identify and resolve issues and ensure system effectiveness.

  • Ensure the resolution or escalation of critical issues to Application Support, Operations or Development staff


Skills

  • Experience in developing, designing and supporting the PowerBI application

  • Intermediate/Advanced system Administration and application support skills

  • Knowledge of standard ITIL process

  • Experience with industry standard Service Desk Tools

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Client focused approach to work

  • A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning

  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail

  • Willingness to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork.
    Some experience in SalesForce platform (CRM, CLM, etc).
