Technical Learning Specialist I

Essential Function
Provide administrative and systems related Learning Management System (LMS) support. Participate in LMS projects and cross-functional training initiatives. LMS Business Support is a segment of the HR Learning & Development (L&D) function within the PAREXEL Academy structure responsible for the ownership and management of the LMS.

Relationships
Reports To HR L&D Managers

Provides Work Direction to N/A
Works Closely with L&D groups, Project Planning and Support (PPS), PAREXEL Quality groups, Trainers, Business Partners, users
External Relationships N/A


Key Accountabilities
• Support the implementation and management of LMS process and functionality, specifically related to Partnership and PST requirements
• Work with Project Specialists in PPS to migrate existing PST projects and on-board new PST projects to the LMS, adhering to internal processes
• Provide general support and respond to user support requests
• Create, modify and retire Learning Activities as appropriate
• Create, modify and retire Learning Assignments as appropriate
• Report LMS issues to HR L&D management, as required
• Act as subject matter expert on Business Objects Training reports
• Generate training transcripts, as required
• Adhere to LMS standard processes
• Actively participate in training related projects, as required
• Acquire additional information and skills to enhance job performance, maintain an up-to-date knowledge of PAREXEL’s systems, services, policies and procedures

• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills and proficient knowledge of MS Office product
• Customer service focused approach to work
• A flexible attitude with respect to work assignments
• Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks, with close supervision
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deliverable timelines, with close supervision
• Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Education

• Educated to degree level or equivalent qualification or clinical research experience

Language Skills

• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
