About this Role

New Business Acquisition:


Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development within assigned accounts
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities; develop strategic sales plans
  • Lead proposal development in collaboration with internal teams
  • Define competitive pricing and solutions aligned with client needs
  • Build strong client relationships and support deal closure


Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven track record in B2B sales and achieving targets
  • Experience in life sciences, CRO, or related industry
  • Project management experience, including client negotiations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Good understanding of drug development and commercialization
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret business data
  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Flexible, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 50%)

Requirements

  • Experience in a CRO, life sciences company, or consulting (life sciences focus preferred)
  • Multiple years previous experience in B2B sales role, preferably in a CRO, Life Sciences Company or Consulting background specializing in Life Sciences
  • Experience in project management within the life sciences industry or a CRO, including experience in client negotiations.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred

Location

  • Primarily Tokyo; Osaka may be considered depending on experience
