About This Role

REMOTE POSITION

Serves as the contact for records management compliance and education within Global Development (GD).  Directs GD implementation and compliance to the record retention schedule globally in accordance with company policies, operating procedures and GXP as applicable. Ensures that legal and audit hold notifications are provided to and understood properly by relevant colleagues and suspends disposal and sequesters of records under Legal or Audit Hold.  Works with GD groups to ensure the proper authorization & destruction of records following the conclusion of their record retention period with proper documentation.    Supports the RM Champion network.   

Serves as the contact for records management compliance and education within Global Development.

Facilitates the establishment of standards and expectations for paper and electronic archival and enforces compliance with internal and 3rd party archival processes.  

Monitors / oversees conditions within the archive and addresses any issues; works with

Enterprise Records Management to oversee archives globally and address issues as needed.

Build awareness and train colleagues on GD RM processes, roles, and responsibilities

Ensures that legal and audit hold notifications are provided to and understood properly by relevant colleagues and suspends disposal and sequesters of records under Legal or Audit Hold.  

Works with GD groups to ensure the proper authorization & destruction of records following the conclusion of their record retention period with proper documentation.   

Track archival requests to forecast disposal timeframes; establish metrics for performance and quality.

Continually refine and identify additional GD RM Stakeholders for engagement 

Develop and maintain an unstructured system roster with known record types

Controls access to the archives and archival material in accordance with procedures.

Supports the RM Champion network. 

Knowledge of records management procedures

Certification or equivalent experience in Records Management. A demonstrated, deep understanding of the TMF Reference model and processing of documentation into an eTMF would be a plus.
