We are looking to fill a Facility Engineer – Materials Management Specialist position working as a full-time employee of Parexel FSP on long-term assignment onsite at one of our clients located in West Point, PA. This position offers full benefits, sick time, 401K, paid holidays, and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
Receiving, dispensing, and warehouse management of materials used in the preparation of clinical supplies, safety assessments, stability, and experimental formulated drug products.
Works with multiple business partners to ensure material availability required to support on time delivery.
Examples of activities:
Managing materials from receipt to release, including collection of all required documentation. • Inspecting incoming materials to verify contents and quality
Supporting shipment of materials both locally and globally
Dispensing materials for clinical production
Supporting forecast analysis for material procurement
Supporting warehouse management activities
Adhering to SOPs, cGMPs and safety procedures
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physical Sciences, or equivalent field
Associate’s degree with relevant experience would be considered.
Required Skills and Experience:
Minimum 4 or more years in Manufacturing, Materials Management, Warehouse, or equivalent.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Technical skills to be able to navigate computer applications.
Attention to detail, communication skills
Desired Skills and Experience:
Procurement skills (analyzing/forecasting)
Facility/Warehouse inventory management
Working in an operations support role
Technical writing – including investigations, SOPs
